Make sure you have a read of Brian McGovern's China Ironman report.  Brian is an ex-pat XTC member living in Singapore.  In his first ever Ironman, Brian crossed the line in 10h 58min, 1st in the 50 – 54 age group, and 28th male overall.  A truely amazing performance in a race where nearly one third of the field failed to finish due to the extreme heat!
